The Second Step is a nonprofit organization that helps those who have experienced domestic abuse to heal and to break the cycle of violence for their families. We provide comprehensive services, including safety planning, legal advocacy, counseling, peer support, transitional housing, and other essential services to adults, youth, and children in Greater Boston and Eastern MA. By giving survivors tools, skills, support, and confidence, they are able to remove obstacles to independence, rebuild their lives, and achieve long-term safety, stability, and wellbeing.
